Caseville Shanty Days, the Michigan thumb’s favorite winter celebration is here!
What do you get when you combine a fun Michigan winter festival with ice fishing, broom ball, and icy dips into Lake Huron’s Saginaw Bay?
You get Caseville Shanty Days, a weekend-long festival in Michigan’s thumb that’s jammed packed with opportunities for outdoor fun in the fresh winter air.
Started in 2019, this popular festival is the Thumb area’s largest winter carnival, filled with fun activities ranging from a snowball toss and polar bear dip to ice fishing contests and fireworks.
The 31st annual “Shanty Days” festival runs February 17- 18, 2023 in downtown Caseville, MI. Please note that a $5 button, which can be purchased at most local businesses, is required to participate in most activities.
