Clean and comfortable rooms just a few miles from Oval Beach, this Best Western is a solid choice any time of the year.

Blue Star Motel

Don’t be fooled by the minimalist approach at this boutique motel in Sauagtuck, located along the Blue Star highway. The Blue Star offers clean and comfortable accomodations in a convenient location.

One of the largest LGBTQ resorts in the country and named one of the “10 Hottest Gay Destinations” by Orbitz this fun resort offers clean and comfortable accommodations in a lovely setting. We love The Dunes Resort because its clean, friendly and the pool is amazing.

Located right on the sandy shores of Lake Michigan, this is an incredibly peaceful spot to stay.

Watch the Lake Michigan sunset from the comfortable desk overlooking the lake, or relax in the beachfront pool. There aren’t many hotels with pools in Saugatuck MI, and this one is quite lovely.

What’s not to love about a spot that keeps its pool open from April 15- November 1? Located in downtown Saugatuck, these remodeled cottages offer an incredible view of Kalamazoo Lake. Pike Cottages also have their own screened porch, perfect for relaxing after a trip to Saugatuck Dunes or other outdoor activities.

This is a prairie-style mansion inspired by the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright and boasting 10 rooms, complete with fireplace’s and ensuite bathrooms. Set on a five-acre garden, the setting is quite stunning. I’m a huge fan of FLW, so The Belvedere is always one of my top choices when I’m visiting Saugatuck.

Hop & Vine Inn & Large Group Rental

Hop and Vine is located in a peaceful, country setting in Fennville, just minutes away from downtown Saugatuck and Lake Michigan beaches. This spot is great for families, with an indoor pool, playground nd lots of room for young ones to roam.

Judson Heath Colonial Inn

This is an upscale, romantic 19th-century estate on the Kalamazoo River. You’ll find an elegant terrace, a beautiful garden and farm-to-table breakfasts at this adults-only spot.

The Kirby

The Kirby is a pretty , 1890’s -era Victorian featuring a wide, wrap-around porch just a short walk to downtown Saugatuck. The five rooms here include a complimentary breakfast in the charming restaurant and wine bar.

Maplewood Hotel

The Maplewood is a historic hotel – think 1860’s – and is both welcoming and comfortable. You’ll also find a pool and kids outdoor play equipment. The Maplewood is definitey on the top family-friendlt spots to stay in the Saugatuck-Douglas area.

Marywood Manor B and B and Cottages

the Marywood Manor is comfortable and relaxing with some amazing Kalamazoo River views. It’s set on the river, and very close to the chain ferry, so you can get where you need to go.

Rosemont Inn Resort

Rosemont Inn is a really pretty, rambling B&B painted white with green awnings- just charming from the get-go. The Rosemont is just steps away from the Douglas beach on Lake Michigan, which is an added bonus.

Saugatuck Landings Luxury Suites and Marina

Locate right on the banks of the Kalamazoo River, this is a quieter spot, but still close enough to walk to the action in downtown Saugatuck. We like this comfortable spot because it’s relaxing and easy to get to the beaches, restaurants and every other spot you might want to wander on your Saugatuck getaway.

Saugatuck Lodge

This is perfect for large gatherings like family and friend reunions. You’ll find a private pool and hot tub in this sprawling home that sleeps 22. Such a great location in downtown Saugatuck – for big groups, this is a must.

Serendipity Bed and Breakfast & Cottage

This is a smaller, cozy spot and we just love it. It’s a great location, just a short block away from all the action of downtown Saugatuck and far enough away to feel like you can really relax. Just steps away from the chain ferry to Oval Beach, Serendipity is has a perfect location.

Sherwood Forest Bed & Breakfast

The Sherwood is located in Douglas and less than a half-a-mile from a beautiful Lake Michigan beach. This Victorian style property is surrounded by woods and has some great features like a heated, indoor pool and bike rentals.

Twin Oaks Inn

The Twin Oaks is a cozy, homey spot in downtown Saugatuck that never fails to disappoint. The guest rooms and are spacious and we love the roomy, screened-in porch and perfect spot for a summer nap.

Wickwood Inn

This is an elegant spot owned by Julee Rosso of Silver Palate Cookbook fame. It’s quaint, comfortable…kind of the definition of understated elegance. Simply put, it’s a My Michigan Beach favorite.
