Dunmaglas Golf Course

Set in Northern Michigan’s “Charlevoix the Beautiful,” this hidden gem was voted one of the best 50 upscale golf courses in the United States by Golf Digest. Dunmaglas was also voted in the top 25 of GolfAdvisors for pace of play in the United States. The rankings don’t lie, must-golf course is a must go this summer. The course was designed by Chuck MacGillidary and Larry Mancour.
Treetops Resort

While Treetops Resort is a great year-round resort, don’t miss out on their golf experience. Awaiting you are five professionally designed golf courses, all unique in their own way. They say there is a reason they are called Treetops… but you’ll just have to see it for yourself. There’s a beautiful resort here, too, with a spa and onsite dining.
Forest Dunes Golf Club

Spread out across 1,300 acres in the Huron National Forest, Forest Dunes Golf Club has almost put me at a loss for words. Surrounded by trees and more trees, relax on the course and top it off after with a meal at one of their two restaurants on site!
Arcadia Bluffs Golf Course

If you’re looking for lake views with a side of golf, Arcadia Bluffs is the golf course of your dreams. Right on Lake Michigan, the views will have you forgetting about the double bogie you just had on Hole 9 in no time. Not to mention, you can golf, dine, and lodge right on the course. Named one of America’s 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses by Golf Digest, Arcadia Dunes, this is the one course in Michigan that you have to play.
Boyne Mountain Resort

While you may recognize this name for skiing, don’t be too quick to dismiss their golf game. After all, their courses are a part of Michigan’s Magnificent Ten portfolio. You’ll find two gorgeous courses here with stunning northern Michigan views; the Alpine features spectacular mountainside setting and panoramic views toward Deer Lake.
The Monument gives you the opportunity to tee off atop Boyne Mountain. Boyne Highlands, about 30 minutes north in Harbor Springs, MI, also offers some amazing courses. You’ll find the Donald Ross Memorial Golf Course here. You’ll also find an Arthur Hills golf course here as well.
Bay Harbor Golf Club

With beautiful views of Lake Michigan on three unique courses, you’ll be dreaming about your next round of golf before you even leave. Located right on Little Traverse Bay between Charlevoix and Petoskey, you’ll find some of the most picturesque views in the lower peninsula here. The Bay Harbor golf courses offer stunning vistas of Lake Michigan.
Shanty Creek Resort
