One of the top family-friendly resorts in Michigan, Crystal Mountain Resort, Crystal Mountain is one of my favorite places to stay in in both the summer and winter.

There’s alot to do here year-round, and most of it is geared toward families, but it’s still a great spot for a couples getaway, too.

In the summer, you can relax with the family alongside the outdoor water park, or take a ride down Crystal Mountain down the Alpine Slide. You can also tee off on the championship golf courses or hike through the the Michigan Legacy Art Park, a unique sculpture park featuring over 50 works of art amidst a serene forest setting. My favorite activity in the summer is biking the trails, and they range from easy to difficult so the whole family can come along!

In the fall, enjoy a ride to the top of mountain where amazing views of the colorful northern Michigan fall foliage lights up the landscape.

In the winter, enjoy exhilarating activities such as skiing and snowboarding on the pristine slopes, snowshoeing through scenic trails, or gliding along the ice-skating rink. Experience pure relaxation at the luxurious Crystal Spa, indulge in culinary delights at the on-site restaurants like the Wild Tomato, The Thistle or the Level Four Lounge at Inn at the Mountain.

In the fall, explore the extensive network of hiking and biking trails that wind through the picturesque landscapes and witness the breathtaking colors of the changing leaves.
