Sun Retreats is a great place to end your day of riding and to enjoy the sunset next to a fire. They
offer full hookups and is a campground for all ages. Pets are allowed, so there is no need to leave
that furry family member behind!
This campground is one of my favorite places to stay while exploring the dunes. They have
bathhouses, a laundry house, propane, basketball court, beach volleyball, corn hole, a fishing
pond, a pool, hot tubs, playgrounds, pickle ball, a game room, a clothing store, and even a fitness
center.
Silver Hills Campground
7575 Taylor Rd, Mears, MI 49436
Silver Hills is a campground for people looking for a classic campground experience. It’s one of
the more picturesque campgrounds with beautiful views and a river that runs throughout the
campground.
They offer full hookups, pull through, and rustic campgrounds for visitors to choose from. They
have bathhouses, a pond, and a pool for residents to enjoy. There are many grassy areas for kids
to play in and a paved road, making for a great walking path throughout the grounds.
Silver Lake Resort Campground

Silver Lake Resort Campground is a perfect place to stay to experience the outdoors while
having some luxury. They have full hook-up sites for RVs, tent sites, rustic cabins, and pristine
bath buildings.
This campground also has several fun outdoor activities and events to enjoy after a long day of
riding. Silver Lake Resort and Campground has a heat swimming pool, playgrounds, picnic
areas, a hammock area, basketball court, gaga ball pit, beach volleyball court, cornhole, and a
camp store to buy snacks and other goods.

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park is another favorite among yearly Silver Lake visitors. This
campground has over 200 campsites with full RV hookups, duplexes, cabins, and tent sites for
you to choose from.
Like Silver Lake Resort and Campground, Jellystone has several activities for families and
guests to enjoy. There is a swimming pool, playground, recreation room, basketball, and
shuffleboard. They offer movie nights, hayrides, arts & crafts, and organized board games/
activities.
Hideaway Campground

If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing campground at night, Hideaway is the campground for
you. They have comfortable cabins, rustic campsites, and full hookup campsites for you to
choose from.
Sandy Shores Campground
8595 Silver Lake Rd, Mears, MI
Sandy Shores Campground is a campground that offers a camping experience like no other in
Mears. They have all the basics a campground should have clean bathhouses, various campsite
types, a laundry house, a convenience store, and full electric/ water hookups.
What sets Sandy Shores apart is their private sandy beach just for its residents. There are 180 feet
of private beach and a private park and docks for residents to park their boats on Silver lake.
The campground also has a heated pool and a playground with a basketball court, beach
volleyball, and an infant/ toddler area. The campground also lists all the area’s activities,
restaurants, and rentals.
Dunes Harbor Family Camp
2722 North Ridge Rd, Silver Lake, MI
Dunes Harbor Family Camp holds up to its name and is the perfect campground for families
looking to enjoy the dunes. They have full hookup sites, pull-thru sites, four rustics cabins, and
RV rentals.
Dunes Harbor has tons of amenities and activities to enjoy. There is a heated pool with a water
slide, playground, a hammock village, kayaks for rent, a launch area, basketball courts, an ice
cream store, beach volleyball, and a nature path. The list of activities offered is as long as the
amenities. They have horse rides, arts & crafts, archery, movie nights, guided nature hikes, and
many yard games.

Holiday Camping Resort

Holiday Camping Resort is a cute little campground located in New Era. It is not as close to the
sand dunes as the other campgrounds, but it is still a great place to stay. They have RV hookups
and quaint rustic cabins for rent. They also have a camp store, a heated outdoor pool, and a
playground.
Holiday Camping brings people together and has tons of events throughout the summer that
make you feel a part of the Holiday family. They have a pet parade, cook-offs, eating
competitions, line dancing, and tons of potlucks throughout the summer.
Hideaway has various tournaments for visitors to enjoy. They have volleyball, setbacks, euchre,
and horseshoe tournaments. Daily kid’s activities are posted around the grounds, a heated pool, a
camp store, and even the Lighthouse Grill on property.
